Final Fantasy XV’s Fabula Nova
Final Fantasy XV’s artistic direction is pure Tetsuya Nomura, an artist and game director of whom we have already talked about. The envoirenments are a mix o european architecture and modern japanese sci-fi, while the characters look like they just came out of Shibuya.
The spiky hair, leather jackets and eccentric accessories are part of Nomura’s design style and it’s pretty much a love it or hate it situation. I personally love it, finding it very unique in it’s ways of merging japanese and western culture.
